Word Assignment 4

Open up Word Assignment 3 (WdAsg3).

Save it as WdAsg4 in the correct folder.

Type, or copy and paste, the following red paragraph  Type in black, not red.

I like to visit websites about dogs. One of my favorite dog sites is  I love Dogs.  The address is http://www.i-love-dogs.com
Another site I like is Guide Dogs For the Blind. Their address is: http://www.guidedogs.com/
Another is the American Kennel Club. Their address is: http://www.akc.org/

Once you have typed the three lines up above, you want to fix the web addresses so they "link" to the websites.

Highlight the address:      http://www.1-love-dogs.com                If you get stuck and need help, click here.
Go to the menu bar on top of the page.
Go to Insert. Drag down to "hyperlink". On the bottom of the window, where it says: Address - type in the http address. Be sure it is correct.
On the top of the window, where it says "Text To Display" type:  I Love Dogs

Now, click OK.

When you do so, the words "I Love Dogs" in your letter should be blue. When you click on them, you should be linked to the I Love Dogs website. If not, go back to Insert, hyperlink and fix the link.

Now fix the links for Guide Dogs for the Blink and for The American Kennel Club so they both work in your letter.

Test the links. Make sure when you click on the link, the Internet opens and goes directly to those websites.
