PowerPoint: Assignment 1

Objectives:

The student will...
create a new presentation using a template.
review the PowerPoint window.
add text to a presentation in outline view.

The Lesson

You have five class periods to finish this
and get a grade.

1. Click on the Start button and go to the Dysart Tool
Kit - select PowerPoint. New Program.

2. A dialog box appears. Use the mouse to click the
Design Template radio button and click OK.

A New Presentation dialog box appears. At the top
of the dialog box click on the Design Templates tab.
Preview templates highlighting each template to preview.

3. Select the template of choice and click Ok.

4. A New Slide dialog box appears. Select the first
Auto Layout slide and click OK.

5. At this point save your program. The name of the
PowerPoint Presentation is Last_First_PPT15L

Your assignment is to make a PowerPoint program
that tells about you, your family and friends. You can tell me about your
hobbies, school, sports, etc. You may bring in pictures you want
to put in the program

The program must have:
A minimum of 10 slides
Use music on the first slide (no music on any other slides)(all music must come from the music I provide you. No music from the Internet.
Use custom animation so the words go onto the slides in a logical manner.
No sounds like machine guns, clapping, etc. The only sound
should be music on the first slide.

You should record a narration of the program.
Transitions should be used on each slide.

You may NOT, use music from CD's or websites.
