Parents and Students,

In the current school year Technology classes meet only once per week. In that class meeting I will introduce a concept and give you an assignment to practice that concept. When doing the practice you will need to save your files using a certain naming system for this class. If you save your files with a different type of name, I will not be able to find your files and grade them. If you do not save your files correctly, your grade will suffer greatly.

 

If you are absent, you are responsible for making up missed work. Ms. Gaines at Nadaburg and Ms. Williams at Desert Oasis are in the lab all week long. Get a pass from your homeroom teacher so you can come to the lab and make up any missing work. Ms. Williams and/or Ms. Gaines will tell you what days you can come. It is very important that you understand that missing work will lower your grade drastically.

Progress reports come out during the fourth week of the quarter. Any missing work for the current quarter may be made up before progress reports. After progress reports, no work may be made up that was assigned before progress reports came out.  Any late work from after the progress reports must be completed one week before the last day of the quarter to be counted on the current report card. If you actually have Technology the last week of the quarter, all assigments will be due the last day of the quarter.

Parents, grades may be checked for upper grade students from the homepage for this site. You will need to know the class your student is in and their student ID number. Your student knows this information or it may be obtained from the school office.
